Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office was first awarded Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) accredited status in October of 1998. Our agency has successfully maintained CFA accredited status with the most recent reaccreditation award being presented to our agency on June 20, 2018.
Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission
Our agency was first awarded Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission (FCAC) accredited status in March of 1998. The Corrections Department has successfully maintained FCAC accredited status with the most recent reaccreditation award being presented to our agency on February 19, 2019.
Excelsior Agency
Due to the Corrections Department earning five consecutive accreditation and reaccreditation awards without any compliance issues, they were granted Excelsior Status. The Corrections Department has since earned an additional two reaccreditation awards without compliance issues, making them a three-time Excelsior recipient. This is an extremely prestigious recognition.
National Commission on Correctional Health Care
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Medical Unit was first awarded The National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) accredited status in October of 2000. They have successfully maintained NCCHC accredited status with the most recent reaccreditation award being presented on February 7, 2020.
