Captain Todd Neal has been affiliated with the Martin County Sheriff Office since 1988. After 25 years of service he initially retired from the Sheriff’s Office in 2012 as a shift Lieutenant for the Corrections Department. In 2019 he returned to the Sheriff’s office and is currently the Administrative Division Commander overseeing county jails inmate support services. Captain Neal is also a member of several committees throughout the county; The Drug & Alcohol Abuse Awareness Committee, The Public Safety Coordinating Council, and the Martin County Mental Health/Substance Abuse Collaborative Workgroup.
Captain Neal holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Barry University and a Master of Science degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Counseling Psychology. He is originally from the state of West Virginia and he is now a long time resident of Martin County where he resides with his three sons.
